SERVICES
Counselling and Therapy
I work with children and young people up to the age of 25. Therapy sessions are tailored to the individual — depending on age and preference, they may include talking, creative activities, or play. My aim is always to create a warm, unhurried space where a young person can feel heard, make sense of what they're experiencing, and find more manageable ways to cope.
I work integratively, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches rather than applying a single model. This allows me to respond to each young person's unique needs. Parents are kept involved in a way that feels right for the child and family — this might mean regular check-ins, coming along to sessions or having separate individual sessions.
Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly, in person in Maida Vale (London W9). I have availability on Saturday mornings and weekdays after school. Sessions from £80. I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation.
Reflective Parenting and Coaching
Parenting is genuinely hard — and today's parents are often navigating challenges that didn't exist a generation ago: social media, greater awareness of mental health, and a world that feels faster and more uncertain.
These one-to-one sessions offer a calm, confidential space to talk about the challenges you're facing — without judgement or blame. Together we can explore what might be driving your child's behaviour, reflect on your own upbringing and parenting style, and think about practical, manageable ways forward.
This isn't advice-giving or parenting classes. It's a space to slow down, think clearly, and feel steadier — so you can be more present for your child, and kinder to yourself.
The service supports parents through all stages, from pre-natal to adolescence, focusing on resilience and self-awareness to create long-lasting change. It can focus on a specific issue or general exploration.

I run workshops for parents and carers on topics including managing children's anxiety, navigating adolescence, emotional regulation, and coping with change. These sessions combine clinical insight with practical strategies — and just as importantly, they create space for parents to connect with others going through similar experiences.
For organisations
I currently work with companies and employee resource groups — including parent networks and women's groups — bringing workshops directly to the workplace. These sessions are tailored to the group and can be delivered in person or online.
If you're an HR lead, ERG organiser, or D&I team member interested in bringing this kind of support to your organisation, I'd love to hear from you.
For individuals and the public
I'm expanding my workshops to be available publicly to individuals later in 2026. If you'd like to be kept informed when these launch, get in touch at claire@appleandpip.co.uk and I'll add you to the list.
